Yes! I am truly in the business of adding the most possible value to your life. And I’m telling you, you need the album. I include albums in all of my packages because there is power that comes with printing out your images. As a bride myself, I wasn’t in a rush to complete my album, but once it was in my hands I regretted not having it printed sooner. It was a gift I gave myself and then ended up giving my entire family, since they all wanted albums of their own. I put a lot of emphasis on your photos being one of the only things you get to take with from your wedding, and how they gain value over time. This is how. Your wedding photos were only meant to sit in your laptop to serve as a backup copy. Your album is what you will share with your grandchildren one day, and it would be my honor to create your first family heirloom!

Because all of my collections include a wedding album, I will share the first draft with you approximately four weeks after you receive your final gallery. I custom design and lay out your album draft in a way that I believe displays the full wedding story in a beautiful and compelling way. After the first draft is sent, you are then able to make revisions by swapping out images, altering or adding spreads. Once you have approved your draft, I will look over the images one last time and send a final document for you to approve before it is sent to production.

Travel is not included in the price of my collections if it is located outside of the greater Indianapolis or Birmingham area. Because each wedding is different, I will need to learn about your destination and event before travel plans are discussed and made. A custom quote will then be made based on the location and how many shooting days the event requires. The travel quote is added to your selected collection. I will make all of my own travel arrangements unless otherwise agreed upon.  

This depends on the size of the wedding or event and something that we can discuss while you’re choosing your collection or creating your own. While I have shot solo, in some cases it can be beneficial to have an additional photographer. Depending on the needs of the event, I will bring on additional shooters or assistants as needed to ensure that I am able to perform my best and provide ample coverage. 

Whenever I have tried to recreate an image off a shot list, it has never gone the way that I or the couple wanted. I know that if you make space to be open and yourself, your day happen naturally and your images will mean so much more to you because they are real. You hired me for a reason and that is because I prioritize being present with my clients and capture genuine moments. Before the wedding I will ask if you have any special people attending, planned moments or unique details that you would like for me to pay attention to so I am fully aware of what makes your wedding day special. I will also ask for you to have the rings, dress, shoes, jewelry and any other heirlooms that you would like in the detail photos in the bridal suite when I arrive so I can shoot those first while you are in hair and makeup. 

One of the reasons film is so beautiful is because it creates really gorgeous skin tones. However, all final images will be corrected for color and exposure as well as examined for basic retouching, which includes blemish removal, under-eye touch-ups if necessary, distracting hair removal and/or slight cropping. I work really hard to make all of my images look as natural and unretouched as possible. Adjustments made are minimal, and the result are timeless images that are an honest representation of your day.

For engagements and couple portraits I deliver between 50 and 150 final images. For weddings I curate between 400 and 1200 final images. The final number of images varies depending on the celebration.

I am very detail oriented and aim to create beautiful, high quality images. I carefully curate all of my galleries and take pride in the extra touch that I give all of my images. For portraits and engagement sessions I aim to have your photos delivered within 4 to 5 weeks. Turnaround times for wedding images is 8 weeks. I will deliver a sneak peek within the week of your wedding day, but your final images will be delivered through a private online gallery that is easily shareable. I will also send your full gallery on a USB to be delivered with your album.

Should any sort of natural disaster threaten your wedding day to the point of you needing to reschedule, it will be discussed and handled depending on the unique situation. But, please know that I am here as a teammate and friend, and only want the best for you. While rain is not something that we hope for a wedding day, it is something that I have navigated through in the past. This is where you and I will work together to come up with a thoughtful solution.

Having a personal emergency come up immediately before a wedding is an unpleasant thought for everyone involved. Should something happen outside of my control, preventing me from attending you wedding, I will do my best to arrange for a replacement photographer of equal caliber and style or we can discuss the return of your full investment and allow you to make your own arrangements. With that being said, leading up to a wedding I plan my life appropriately. I understand what it takes to perform at a high level health wise, and take precautions in my everyday life as well as always allow for ample travel time leading up to your wedding.
